A few words about stock photography... or the leasing of rights to use an existing photograph for a specific purpose. The word stock means that the photo already exists in a photographer's files somewhere, and stock usage is a common way for designers, advertisers and others to economize on the costs of producing a printed product by using ready-made photographs. The only trick is to find the image you need. Stock photographs are available through stock agencies or from some photographers directly.

To get a price on stock usage... An agency or photographer will ask you first what sort of a picture you need, or if you have seen the exact image you want. Then you'll need to describe the project that you need the image for, how many pieces are to be printed, in what language and countries, and the size the image will appear. Most stock suppliers have a minimum fee. Tina Freeman's minimum stock fee is $225.

If you are interested in obtaining stock usage rights for any image you have seen on this website, or inquiring about the thousands of other images we have, you can contact Tina Freeman's Decatur Studio directly by e-mail. To see Tina's work in other stock photography collections you can also visit the extensive stock sites of A.G. Pix or M.I.R.A.
